Today, take time to pray for those in our church who TEACH the Word of God. Whether it’s a child, a teenager, or an adult, we ALL need to be discipled and trained in scripture. We have teachers at The Avenue who are passionate about helping people mature in their walk with Christ. They take time weekly to pray and prepare. 1st Corinthians 12:28 says, “and God has placed in the CHURCH first of all apostles, second prophets, third TEACHERS, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, guidance, and of different kinds of tongues.” Teaching isn’t just a job or a position ... it’s a CALLING. Pray today God will continue teaching “them” as they teach us ... pouring into “them” as they pour into us. You and I need what God gives them!
